about Cam

Cam is not a bullet point list of achievements; she is a whole person whose life keeps circling back to one idea: helping people keep going when things get hard. She loves the messy, in between moments, the late night talks after practice, the miles where your legs hurt and your heart feels louder than your watch.

Movement has always been her first language. She started playing soccer at 4 years old, feet too small for the ball and smile way too big for the field, and never really stopped. From chasing a ball on a Division I soccer field to chasing sunrise on a 100 mile course, she has learned that the point is not perfection but showing up, again and again, with whatever you have that day. That same willingness to show up is what led her into an operating room to donate part of her liver to her mom, and what keeps her close to families navigating illness, recovery, and all the small victories in between.

If you spend time with Cam, you notice the way she makes big, heavy things feel a little more possible. She is the friend who remembers your race day, the teammate who cracks a joke when the room feels tense, the person who will walk the slow laps with you when running is not in the cards yet. She believes deeply that people heal better in community, and she is always looking for ways to build circles where no one feels like they have to be “fine” to belong.

Sports are a big part of Cam’s story, but they are not the only place her heart lives. Cam is just as invested in the quiet moments in clinics, in the side conversations in hallways, in the stories people tell when they think no one is taking notes. She cares about mental health in sports, living donor advocacy, and the simple, everyday rituals that help people remember they are not alone.

This site is a home base for all of that. Here you will find pieces of her story, the causes she shows up for, and the projects that light her up, along with ways to bring her into your world when you need someone who understands endurance, grief, and hope up close. Whether you are planning an event, leading a team, or walking through a hard season, this is an open invitation to reach out, connect, and keep going together.
