Cam Lane brings lived experience, heart, and grit to teams doing meaningful work.

WORK WITH Cam

Cam Lane is a former NCAA Division I soccer player, 100-mile ultramarathon finisher, living liver donor, and Exercise Science graduate who thrives in demanding, people-centered environments. Teammates, coworkers, and coaches rely on her because she is genuine, relentlessly positive, and deeply dependable, bringing the same focus and follow-through to her work that she brings to racing 100 miles and navigating complex medical journeys.

Cam is actively seeking mission-aligned roles in health advocacy, community engagement, endurance programming, and nonprofit or purpose-driven organizations, while also partnering with brands, events, and initiatives that share her values.

What Cam Brings to a team

  • Real credibility in sport and health. Cam has competed as an NCAA Division I athlete, coached ECNL youth soccer, worked in strength and conditioning, and earned a degree in Exercise Science with a focus on fitness and wellness. She understands how performance, health, and people intersect and communicates comfortably with athletes, coaches, clinicians, and everyday runners alike.

  • A powerful donor and caregiver story. As a living liver donor and the daughter of a two-time transplant recipient and breast cancer survivor, Cam understands the emotional and practical realities of illness, caregiving, and recovery. She brings empathy, resilience, and a deep commitment to caring for people into every role she takes on.

  • Proven communicator and mentor. Whether leading a team talk, working one-on-one with runners in a retail environment, or speaking at American Liver Foundation events, Cam is known for clear, honest communication and an ability to meet people where they are.

  • Example of comeback and consistency. From donating part of her liver to returning as a 100-mile ultramarathon finisher and 100K champion, Cam models long-term commitment, discipline, and hope in a way that makes hard things feel possible for others.

Roles Cam is actively seeking

Cam is open to full-time or long-term roles where she can contribute, grow, and stay rooted in community, health, and endurance sport.

  • Running store manager or assistant manager roles where she can lead staff, deepen community relationships, and guide runners using her Exercise Science background and ultrarunning experience.

  • Tech rep or territory rep positions with running shoe or gear brands, representing products to specialty retailers, leading clinics, supporting demo events, and building authentic relationships in the running community.

  • College assistant coaching roles that allow her to mentor student-athletes, support training and team culture, and contribute to the broader student-athlete experience.

  • Health, wellness, or athlete support coordinator positions (within universities, endurance organizations, nonprofits, or corporate wellness settings), where she can design programs, support individuals, and utilize her advocacy and communication skills to benefit a larger community.
